Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading the application, or accessing MilaRecipes through any platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Service and delete your account.

2. Description of Service

MilaRecipes provides cloud-based meal planning and recipe discovery tools, including but not limited to: recipe curation, weekly meal planning, grocery list generation, nutritional tracking, and cross-platform synchronization. The Service is available via mobile applications (iOS and Android), web browsers, desktop applications, browser extensions, and API integrations.

3. Account Registration & Security

• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

MilaRecipes offers both free and paid subscription tiers. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• You authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with the refund policies of the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) or our direct billing provider.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be grandfathered at their current rate until the end of their billing cycle.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any other destructive code through the Service.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without authorization.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, and source code, is owned by MilaRecipes and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks may not be used without prior written consent.

You retain ownership of all user-generated content (custom recipes, notes, meal plans) you create within the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MilaRecipes and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting support or using the account deletion feature in settings. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.
